Celery with cauliflower

Celery and cauliflower  (Stir - fry)

Celery - 8 to 10  stalks (about 500 grams) (thinly sliced) 

Cauliflower -  about  400 grams (cut into small pieces)

Any meat (except chicken)- 300 to 400 grams (cut)

3-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly slivered lengthwise

Garlic – 4 to 5 cloves

Big onion - 1 pc (cut thinly)

Salt – ½ teaspoon to 1 teaspoon (3 grams - 5 grams) or to taste.

Curry powder– ½ teaspoon

Soya sauce – ½ teaspoon

Cooking oil – 2 to 3 spoons

Water – 2 cups

Method:-

1.   Heat a wok with the cooking oil on medium heat

2.   Add in the big onion, stir for a minute.

3.   Add in the chopped garlic, ginger,  stir for awhile.

4.   Add meat and stir fry for awhile.

5.  Add in the celery, cauliflower and stir for about a minute


5.   Add in the water, soya sauce,  curry powder, salt and simmer until cooked.

Optional:- Add dried tofu stick to the above dish.

Cooking tips:- for health reasons,  do not cook celery with carrot or  chicken meat.
